I'm reading Monica's biography, and I weep when I read how much she cried over the years since she was STABBED IN THE BACK. Before Monica, it was the norm for players to just hit the ball back defensively to only keep it in play. Monica is the first to go for the winner with every shot.

Hey just finished reading Monica's new book, Getting A Grip.....What a great book. What an amazing person she is.I guess it is true,that things are not always how they seem to appear.

Come back to tennis monica. u canwin. Try to findout a good coach. U can. Take enough confidence, try to regain fitness and a competitive mentality. u can overccome all these girls and can won this years australian, wimbledon like tournaments.

i just saw monica on ccn connection
i have such respect, admiration even awe for her as a fellow tennis player who saw what she attained and then fell from and came back from - god love her!

Monica,
The courage you have on the court is nothing compared to the courage it took to write your autobiography. I couldn't put the book down because I identified with your struggles. Thank you for bringing comfort to others. And congrats!
